Tim a qualified chef with a passion for cooking and a strong background in commercial kitchen design started our kitchen design, supply and installation business six years ago.
Two years ago two separate requests made us rethink what we were doing. The first a brief to supply an eco kitchen set us about researching what comprised an eco kitchen. The combination of not being able to find much in the way of a true eco kitchen set us the challenge of designing our own.
The second request came from the prospective purchaser of a brand new expensive house, they intensely disliked the kitchen that had been installed by the developer and wanted a quote for the replacement of the whole kitchen. The one that was installed was to be ripped out and discarded, although this was our business, we couldn't help but think about the dreadful waste.
This gave us the idea of concentrating our designs on freestanding kitchens, that once customers had made the investment in a kitchen that they loved they could take it with them and cherish it forever.
A strong love of the environment and trying to do our bit encouraged me to see what else we would put in our eco kitchen. I was delighted to find such a fantastic range of innovative, quality products available, many produced locally. The more I found the more encouraged I felt and the more I wanted to carry on looking it became addictive.
A year later after many months of waiting for the right eco paint to dry, (yes - it really did take that long some things are never quite as simple as you think) here we are with our freestanding kitchens available in natural oils and waxes or a quality eco paint.
We have a full range of products that grows ever larger in choice and have a positive commitment to source products produced locally or that are made in UK wherever possible.
However we won’t compromise on quality, sustainability with style is our motto.
We're not perfectly green, but we try our best and we now love every minute of what we do.
We reuse all our packaging for the orders that we send out and have graded our products with eco points to help you make informed choices.

Packaging
We use recycled/recyclable packaging whereever possible. Some of our goods will be sent directly to you from our manufacturers in order to reduce environmental impact from transport and will have been packaged by them.
